Examine this equation, and try to find values for all variables contained in it. Explain how the value of the equation comes about by inserting the values of all variables into the equation.

Without the asterisk, <code>EXPLAINVAL</code> will print a line containing the following items:
* The expression
* The right-hand side of the equation assigning a value to the expression
* The same right-hand side, where all variables are replaced by their values
* The value of the expression

The asterisk will suppress the first two items.
