Document settings

The document settings can be accessed through the iMath menu. The following settings are available as of iMath 2.3.0. Most of the options are explained in detail on the OPTIONS page, so the explanation is not repeated here.

Appearance

• Automatic formatting of iFormulas
• Automatic aligning of iFormulas
• Automatic chaining of iFormulas
• Automatic fraction sizing
• Minimum fraction text size
• Automatic text mode

Formula font

This setting allows to choose the font to use for all iFormulas in the document. A pre-defined list of fonts is offered. iMath does not check whether these fonts are actually installed on the system.

Units

• The default units, as explained on the OPTIONS page
• Suppress units

Numbers

• Precision of numbers
• Fixed or floating point notation of numbers
• Minimum positive exponent
• Maximum negative exponent

Calculation

• Inhibit underflow exceptions
• Evaluate odd nth roots of negative bases to the real value
• Allow implicit multiplication

• Echo formulas
